"I wish my ex had done that with me!!"

love_pill_by_naked_in_the_rain-d3fkioh

by Jaclyn

How many times have you had a partner for a while and there are things she does or does not do that drives you crazy? seriously, imagine having a dollar for every time you thought "I wish she would..." or "I wish she wouldn't..." ???

Lots?
We spend a lot of time thinking shit like this in relationships. In the beginning she can be perfect, doin' no wrong, goin' about her time as wonderfully as anything you ever experienced,,, then all of a sudden you start noticing these wee things that start to eventually drive you nuts. They say that the things you absolutely love in the beginning are the things that drive you crazy in the end... how funny and yet how true.
Then the best part is they go on to someone else and all those things you wished they had done for you or for the relationship they are now doing with that new person! And we get all mad about it!! All the things we wanted, they do for someone else! What the F is that shit????

Ugandan Lesbian Activist Honoured

Kasha_Jacqueline_Nabagesera

The Ugandan lesbian activist Kasha Jacqueline Nabagesera has just been honoured with an international award for her fight for human rights including LGBT rights.

The organizers applauded her courage in a country which punishes homosexuality.

The President of the jury, Hans Thoolen, said that Nabagesera is "an exceptional woman of a rare courage, fighting under death threat for human dignity and the rights of homosexuals and marginalised people in Africa".

"This is a fitting tribute to the courage of one woman, Kasha Nabagesera, and to all activists working under conditions of extreme threat," added
Dipika Nath, a LGBT researcher at Human Rights Watch.

Nabagesera, on several occasions, asked on television and radio more rights for the LGBT community and more fight against homophobia in Uganda. She has to move house a lot to escape harassment, she also regularly receives death threats and was even physically attacked.

This award Martin Ennals, from the name of a British activist of human rights, will enable her to see her work publicly published but also to have more protections.

British Prime Minister Wants To Limit Gay Kisses On TV

brooke_vincent

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, wishes to limit on television gay kisses before 9PM. The actress Brooke Vincent, who plays a lesbian, Sophie Webster, in a british soap, totally disagree.

The actress said on Twitter: "I swear David Cameron's meant to be supporting equal rights. I just think if same-sex kisses are what he is prioritising and concentrating on changing, our country's in trouble." (that's so true)

French Education Minister Wants To Fight Against Bullying

Bullying-Stop

by E-Li

In France, the Education Minister, Luc Chatel, has decided to fight against harassing, and in particular the homophobe harassing of youth in schools.

"We will give concrete answers, by improving the formation of our teachers, by preparing the education system which is not ready to deal with this, by sensitizing the parents, by setting up a call number, like this when a child has been bullied, his/her parents can intervene and find someone to talk with," he said.

It is true that, in France, nobody speaks about it. The minister added that it is even "taboo" but it "concerns too many children in our country".

According to a study of the International observatory of violence at school for Unicef, more than one child on ten has been bullied.
